Assurance of economic and financial cooperation from the US official

US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Treasury has met with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

According to the statement, Ishaq Dar and US Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury discussed bilateral relations.

The Treasury has said that the government has inherited a weak economy, but despite the difficult economic conditions, reforms are underway in all sectors, including energy and capital markets, for sustainable economic development and growth.

Ishaq Dar said that despite the difficulties, efforts are being made to fix the economic issues, Pakistan will fulfill its international obligations.

On this occasion, the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, Robert Kapruth emphasized the good relations between Pakistan and the US.

Robert Kapruth expressed confidence in the government's policies and programs for economic and financial stability. He also assured his support and cooperation on economic and financial matters which the Finance Minister thanked Robert Kapruth.
